Is ATA membership is open to everyone?
Yes. Membership of the ATA is open to anybody who is 18 years of age and above with an interest in Technical Analysis.
Is there any membership fee?
To become an ATA member one has to pay Rs. 3,000/- which includes one time registration fee of Rs. 1,000/- & annual fee of Rs. 2,000/-.
Are non-members able to attend ATA meetings?
Non-members are welcome to attend ATA annual meetings by paying registration fee.
What is IFTA?
The International Federation of Technical Analysts, Inc. (IFTA) was incorporated in 1986 and is a global organization of market analysis societies and associations. IFTA is an international non-profit professional organization with members in 28 countries.
IFTA offers certification to Professional Technical Analysts around the world. The IFTA offers two certifications:

Certified Financial Technician (CFTe)
- Master of Financial Technical Analysis (MFTA)
What is the Certified Financial Technician program?
This two-stage education and testing program in technical analysis is offered to members of IFTA-affiliated societies worldwide. It is designed for self-study (syllabus and reading list may be provided), with an examination at the end of levels I and II.
Upon successful completion of both levels, the candidate is awarded the “Certified Financial Technician” designation, which certifies that the candidate has thorough knowledge of the field, and is able to understand and apply advanced technical analysis concepts and tools.
What is the Master of Financial Technical Analysis program?
This is an academic research-style paper offered to members of IFTA-affiliated societies worldwide.
How much does it cost?
Certified Financial Technician Level I : US $ 500
Certified Financial Technician Level II : US $ 800
Master of Financial Technical Analysis : US $ 900.

Do I have to be an IFTA Member to take one of these programs?
You cannot join IFTA directly, you must join one of IFTA’s member/developing societies like ATA. You must be an IFTA Colleague (member of your local IFTA society) to take either exam.
From where do we get the study material?
IFTA provides the syllabus, reading list, & limited number of sample questions. ATA may provide the study material to its members at subsidised rates.
Are there any coaching classes available?
No. This program is designed for Self-Study.
Can I give exams from any location in
India
?
Members of ATA can take the exam anywhere in the world, providing there is a test center available. List of test centres available in
